We are stepping into the new era, gradually. AI tools are becoming widely used, and every day we hear about new innovations. Although language models are the most popular AI tools, there is also significant interest in visual and video generation. Seeing this interest, major tech companies never miss out on such large audiences.
Recently, companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, and X have released video generation tools, such as OpenAI’s Sora 2 and X’s Grok. These tools have proven to be quite impressive. Especially Sora 2, which is accessible via invite code, has generated a lot of buzz with truly remarkable capabilities.
The next surprise comes from Google DeepMind: Veo 3.1. What sets it apart is the ability to edit videos directly. This has been one of the biggest shortcomings of video generation tools. Another significant limitation—creating videos using the first and last frame or multiple images—is now addressed in Veo 3.1.
There may still be missing features or issues, which will become clearer in the coming days. However, initial tests show smooth video generation, and future updates will make the process even easier.
If you want to try it, there are currently two platforms available: Higgsfield AI and Flow (as in Veo 3.1). When you log in to Flow or Higgsfield AI, you can already access Veo 3.1.
